Music Therapist

Connection. Embodiment. Expression.

Music in combination with a supportive therapeutic container can be a medium for transformative experiences.

Music Therapy is the evidence-based use of music to support clients in achieving clinical goals

I completed my degree through Slippery Rock University and my internship at the Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine in New York City working in the Mount Sinai Hospital system. There, I worked in various inpatient medical units as well as facilitating a music therapy group for trans and gender-expansive adults.

I am also certified in levels 1 and 2 of gender affirming voicework, an emerging music therapy method dedicated to supporting people of all genders in accessing affirming vocal expression.

I bring lived experience as a performing and teaching artist, and continue to nurture my creativity as a songwriter, improviser, and performer.

As a white, queer, small-fat, neurodivergent, nonbinary femme, I seek to practice from a framework of nonjudgement and clinical authenticity, with continual work on my own biases and awareness of privilege
